• The old style keypad is difficult to use
• You want to bypass a single window, without bypassing several rooms of your home. (zone expansion)
• There are some openings in your home that are not covered by the alarm system. (wireless)
• You want fire protection on your alarm. (smoke, heat, and/or carbon monoxide detetectors)
• You want additional motion detectors
• You want glass break protection
• You want your neighbors to hear your alarm (exterior bell)
• You want your alarm to call attention to your house (strobe light)
